Since 2002 Nigel Magowan has been in full-time private practice as a professional Psychotherapist, Advanced Hypnotherapist, Life Coach, Licensed NLP Master Practitioner and Ecotherapist.  Nigel specialises in relieving stress and anxiety, including treating IBS with hypnosis. Nigel has trained with some of the best trainers and combines all his skills and experience to produce a treatment which is tailored specifically to your unique personal needs. He uses a brief integrative solution-focused approach to his work, which can often bring about results in a much shorter time than traditional counselling or psychoanalysis. His extensive training and experience has given him the knowledge and flexibility to help with most psychological issues. He has also received additional specialist training in working with addictive behaviour, treating IBS, stress management techniques, pain management, and Ecotherapy. Nigel is also a fully trained and accredited supervisor, and can offer supervision to other therapists.

He has his own busy Psychotherapy, Counselling, Life Coaching, NLP and Hypnotherapy practices on Harley Street in West London and Chorlton in Manchester.  All his treatment is carried out privately on a one-to-one basis, in a highly constructive, relaxed, supportive and non-judgemental environment.

He specialises in helping people with anxiety, panic attacks, stress management, relationship issues, addictions, obsessive and compulsive disorders, IBS, confidence and self esteem, insomnia, public speaking and performance anxiety, fears, phobias, smoking cessation, eating disorders, and study and memory techniques.

Nigel holds an enhanced CRB certificate and has full Professional Indemnity Insurance.
